UK Emergency Appeal to Support Notre Dame, Paris Rebuild Fund
The National Funding Scheme launches a UK text and web giving channel to support the international effort to rebuild Notre Dame cathedral after the devastating April 2019 fire.
The devastating fire that destroyed so much of Notre Dame, Paris on 15th April will be rebuilt through an international effort. The UK is delighted to play its part in supporting the effort to raise funds and rebuild this iconic cathedral.
The National Funding Scheme (registered charity 1149800 in England and Wales, SC045106 in Scotland) created both text and web channels to make this process as easy as possible for UK citizens wishing to contribute.
How to Donate
Donations can be made by text (added to a donor's phone bill) or online.
Text giving options:
- To give £1 - text DAME to 70201
- To give £3 - text DAME to 70331
- To give £5 - text DAME to 70970
- To give £10 - text DAME to 70191

Gift Aid can be applied to all eligible donations made by UK taxpayers. All donated funds will be passed to the French rebuilding fund.
About the Appeal
Notre Dame de Paris is one of the world's most recognised cultural and spiritual landmarks. The fire of April 2019 caused devastating damage to the structure, destroying the spire and much of the roof. The international community responded with an outpouring of support and generosity to ensure its restoration.
