DONATE™ Supports Natural England: Restoring Bergum Wood
DONATE™ partners with Natural England to launch a spring fundraising campaign to restore Bergum Wood in Shropshire, transforming barren conifer plantation into upland oak woodland.
DONATE™, the UK's national fundraising service, has partnered with Natural England to launch two fundraising campaigns as spring approaches - focused on restoring a precious piece of English woodland for future generations.
Restoring Bergum Wood
The primary campaign focuses on restoring Bergum Wood, adjacent to the Stiperstones National Nature Reserve in Shropshire. The initiative aims to transform the area into "a beautiful upland oak woodland, supporting flora and fauna in their natural habitats."

About the Stiperstones
The Stiperstones National Nature Reserve encompasses the Stiperstones ridge in south Shropshire near the Welsh border. The landscape features Ordovician Quartzite geology shaped by the last ice age, with wildlife including common lizards, red grouse, red kites, hairy wood ants, and green hairstreak butterflies.
Public access includes the 8km Stiperstones Stomp trail - a stunning walk that the restored woodland will make even more special for generations to come.
