Finding last month's Gift Aid, checking a payout or setting up a new appeal usually means logging in, finding the right report and copying figures into an email. DONATE™ connects directly to AI assistants like Claude, so you can ask instead.

The assistant works on your own DONATE account through a secure connector. It answers from your live figures and prepares new fundraisers as drafts for you to check.

Safe by design

  • Everything your assistant creates is a draft. Nothing goes live until you have seen exactly what will be published and confirmed it yourself.
  • It sees only your organisation's account, and you choose what to share when you connect. Donor details can be left out.
  • If your assistant changes a live fundraiser, ask it to undo the change.
  • Only your organisation's portal admins can connect, and you can disconnect at any time from your portal.

How to connect

  1. Ask us to switch on the AI connector for your organisation. We are turning it on account by account.
  2. In your AI assistant, add a custom connector (in Claude: Settings, then Connectors) with the address https://mcp.easydonate.org/v1
  3. Sign in with the email you use for the DONATE portal and choose what your assistant can see.

Which AI assistants work with DONATE? ＋

Claude, and other assistants that support MCP connectors. You add DONATE as a custom connector using the address https://mcp.easydonate.org/v1, then sign in with your DONATE portal email.

Can the assistant publish anything without me? ＋

No. Everything it creates is a draft. A fundraiser only goes live after you have seen exactly what will be published and confirmed it yourself.

What can the assistant see? ＋

Only your own organisation's account, and only what you agree to share when you connect. You can leave donor details out, and disconnect at any time from your portal.

Does it cost extra? ＋

No. The connector is included with your DONATE account. Anything you set up through it, such as a premium text code, is charged exactly as it would be in the portal.
